Ties - $6+
These ties have benefits. I wore one of these to a semi-formal banquet (Denton EFY 2008). Someone used a napkin as a bib and I bragged, "hey, I could spill on my tie." He came back with a story of his tie ending up in a gravy bowl. "if only you had had a duct tape tie, you might have been a little embarassed, but you would have been alright." I like the fact that if I spill on it, it's OK, but the first front page picture demonstrates the real reason I like these ties so much...
I will admit, the ties can be a pain to tie sometimes, but I find them well worth it.Solid color or striped* ties are $6 + $1.00 to have more than 2 colors. The painstakingly made design in the picture is $15. If you want that exact design specify a color for what is gray (in picture) and a color for what is black. For $10 or $15 I could make you a new design instead, just give me an idea how you want it to look and . Of course, a $10 design will be simpler. The only guarantee with the new designs is that if you aren't satisfied and are willing to pay to ship it back, I will refund your money or replace it for free (with free shipping, but front page satisfaction guarantee doesn't apply to new designs) Customs Designs may also be possible. If you want one please contact me from the Home page.
I can also make ties double sided. (then you can use the other side to look like a totally different tie) To find the cost of these, add the cost of each "tie" and sutract $5. Unfortunately, the little thingy on the back to shove the small part into would look rather dumb on the front, so I would plan on not making one of them. You could put the tail in your shirt.
No refunds will be given for complaints about tying one of these. Now that I'm used to it, it takes less than twice as long as a normal tie; the first time I tried I probably had to retie several times.
*Half strip of duct tape or about 3/4" thick stripes
